Since the economic down-turn of 2008, CapitalSource Bank has become a shining star in the banking industry.  Backed by CapitalSource, a niche middle-market lender, CapitalSource Bank has expanded its reaches in the California area to include 24 branches and amassed more than $6 billion in assets.   

As part of an effort to reposition the bank, Interactive Strategies engaged in a website redesign in 2009.  Since timing was critical to counter-act the negative effects of the economy, we created a static site with the idea that a content management system would soon follow. 

We are pleased to report that in August 2011, the CapitalSource Bank website is now backed by a custom .NET CMS solution.

With security and UI of utmost importance -- along with the integration with some proprietary banking software – we steered clear of any ‘off-the-shelf’ .NET CMS solutions in order to provide CapitalSource Bank staff with fast and effective ways to update site content.  

Although the results of this effort may be invisible, feel secure in the fact that CapitalSource Bank now has the power to instantly provide customers with the most up-to-date information – from current CD rates to online banking promotions.
