Emily brings over a decade of strategic communications and digital marketing experience to Interactive Strategies, spanning industries such as advocacy, charities, associations, education, B2B and B2C. She blends her eclectic background, love of the written word and belief that users are king to developing thoughtful web strategies for her clients.
Emily comes to Interactive Strategies from CHIEF (now U.Group), a digital agency in Washington, DC. She led collaborative teams of designers, writers and developers to build award-winning experiences for such clients as the National Park Foundation, No Kid Hungry, The Broad Center, the Federal Trade Commission and Better Medicare Alliance. Prior to that, Emily’s past life as a political operative in Kentucky made her a Jill-of-all-trades when it comes to communications, helping her hone her skills in fundraising, as well as develop the necessary skill of entertaining herself on cross-country road trips.
When not encouraging her teams to take big risks to make a big impact, Emily can be found cheering for her beloved Kentucky Wildcats, training for a 10k or hiking in one of her favorite national parks.
