Website Redesign
MAXIMUS helps governments at all levels offer critical health and human services to their citizens. Our design challenge was to provide intuitive access to an array of consultation services, while conveying a company-wide dedication to its mission: Helping Government Serve the People. To this end we used photography to portray the citizens served by MAXIMUS, as well as targeted messaging to reinforce the company's commitment to public service.
Flex Development
We extended MAXIMUS’ efforts to connect with its various audiences around the world through a dynamic rotator on the home page as well as through an interactive map.
Drupal Development
On the backend, we implemented a content management system in Drupal that allows MAXIMUS to easily update content across the entire site.
Content Workshop & Development
For MAXIMUS it was critical to extend the important message of "helping Governments serve the people" from visual design elements to site messaging and content. We started with a Web Content Workshop where we worked with MAXIMUS to set an editiorial tone and goals, discuss elements of effective online content and orgranize a content development process. We then crafted key messages for the main homepage rotator and Services section pull-quotes. We developed content for each section of the website and created sample content and templates to guide MAXIMUS through the content development process internally.
Organic Search Engine Optimization
Our marketing team did extensive research to create the keyword universe to optimize pages across the MAXIMUS site for search. The website has experienced dramatic results, such as a 40% reduction in the bounce rate, 150% increased time on the site and 140% increase in page views per visit.
