Project HOPE
Building the speed and scale a global mission demands.
When your work spans more than 70 countries and the next crisis is always around the corner, your digital presence can't afford to lag behind.
Project HOPE delivers lifesaving care and frontline health training to communities in crisis around the world. They came to Interactive Strategies to build a platform that could keep pace with their mission: one that helped them respond faster, tell urgent stories, and turn visitor attention into real-time action.
As Project HOPE's reach grew, their existing site had more to do. Publishing could be faster, content could be easier to organize across programs and geographies, and support pathways for their audiences could be more clear.

The focus
Project HOPE already had global reach, the programs, and the stories. They needed a platform that could publish them quickly, organize them across a wide mission, and give visitors a clear path from awareness to action.

Our strategy
Working hand in hand with Project HOPE's team, we built outward from what their editors and audiences needed most: speed, clarity, and control.
Activating urgency. Project HOPE's homepage needed to function like a global newsroom. We worked closely with their editors to build a modular CMS with flexible alert banners and dynamic fundraising tools, then trained the team to publish rapidly without developer support. Visitors now land on a page that shows them where crises are unfolding and exactly how to help.
Organizing complexity. Project HOPE's work spans continents and dozens of programs. We built a taxonomy that keeps content organized at scale, so the right information surfaces in the right places. Editors stay in control of a large content library, and visitors stay oriented across a wide mission.
Letting the work lead. We kept the design focused and purposeful: large imagery, bold headlines, and accessible color contrast that puts the mission front and center. Every page is built to reinforce what Project HOPE does and drive engagement without distraction.
