Andy Babb
Andy Babb is an Art Director and Lead Web Designer with over a decade of experience creating brands and websites for organizations working toward social change. He's led design work for Doctors Without Borders, Elizabeth Warren for President, Human Rights Campaign, Planned Parenthood, Teach For America, and the Obama Foundation, work that requires both creative vision and smart execution.
Andy moves easily between the detailed work of perfecting a web design system and the broader challenge of shaping how an organization presents itself to the world. He's drawn to projects where he can solve problems at both levels whether that means getting a layout exactly right or rethinking a brand's entire visual identity and voice.
Outside of work, Andy's main creative outlet is still life studio photography. He shoots bizarre tchotchkes he finds online or at junk shops, and in a world increasingly filled with AI-generated images, he enjoys documenting his process to show there's still a human making the work. It's a philosophy he brings to design, too – the best work is made by people, for people.
