There have been many firsts at Interactive Strategies, and Sylvia is one of them. She’s our first Senior Digital Fundraising Manager, a new role here that represents our clients’ growing demand for fundraising work.
Sylvia brings more than 10 years’ experience in digital fundraising to our marketing team. Prior to joining us, she worked at an agency where she helped clients such as the National Geographic Society and the League for Women Voters develop their multichannel fundraising strategies. Since joining the IS team, Sylvia has lead digital fundraising campaigns for clients including the American Lung Association, Boston Children's Hospital and The Wilderness Society. Sylvia also picked up project management and other skills during her time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala, an experience she calls the best of her life.
When not at work, Sylvia enjoys exploring the DC food scene with her husband and traveling internationally. She tries to visit a new country every year and is currently planning trips to Spain and Thailand. She also has a deep love for penguins.
