There have been many firsts at Interactive Strategies, and Sylvia is one of them. She’s our first Senior Digital Fundraising Manager, a new role here that represents our clients’ growing demand for fundraising work.
Sylvia brings more than 10 years’ experience in digital fundraising to our marketing team. She started her career as a college intern working on a peer-to-peer campaign and went on to work at a handful of nonprofit organizations, including Bread for the World and No Kid Hungry. Prior to joining us, she worked at an agency where she helped clients develop their multichannel fundraising strategies. Sylvia also picked up project management and other skills during her time asa Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala, an experience she calls the best of her life.
When not at work, Sylvia enjoys exploring the DC food scene with her fiancé and traveling internationally. She visits a new country every year and is currently planning trips to Morocco and Thailand. She also has a deep love for penguins.
